FROM SOIL TO PLATE

  • We support local businesses and embrace circular economy: Our thoughtfully crafted menu features seasonal ingredients that are sourced around Barcelona and Spain, not only for ensuring exceptional taste but also to supporting local producers and minimizing food miles.



  • We collaborate with “good” people around: We choose our suppliers & vendors carefully and connect with them around shared values, making sure that our purposes collaborates and grows together for greater positive impact. This includes any partner from raw materials to banking systems or electricity suppliers.



  • We care about animal welfare: 

Slow and conscious food also means conscious choices. As we are serving brunch, and coffee; we have a high consumption of eggs and dairy products. We are committed to use ONLY free range organic “happy” eggs, and make sure that the cows are treated with maximum care where we get our milk. We visit our suppliers regularly to ensure consistent good care of our animal friends.

  • You are more than welcome for choosing plant-based dairy: 

As we are a vegetarian restaurant trying to provide as many vegan options as possible, we directly eliminate the methane emissions related to meat production. We give a 10c discount for plant based dairy replacement products to encourage our guest to replace milk while common practice is to extra charge.

  • Game-changer vegetarian menu: Despite the prejudice against vegetarian food not being very tasty, we prove the contrary. We strive to serve indulging vegetarian food to support more conscious lifestyle adaptations. Thanks to the new plant based meat replacement products available on the market, we can also provide some guilty pleasures to burger or bacon craving customers ;)

FAIR KITCHEN

  • Cooking at Faire is a bespoke experience, avoiding mass production. Everything is prepared fresh daily by our kitchen team. Putting our passion as the core ingredient, our highly talented team assembles, cooks, and plates each dish to make our guest impressed, well-nourished, and amazed by the artful culinary experience.



  • Embracing slow and conscious living, we do not serve fast food and do not take the side of mass consumption. We serve slow food and let you indulge in slow moments. Each dish turns into a celebration of sustainable and mindful eating.

  • Conscious menu design & intelligence: 

We’re committed to our aim to be carbon negative, including our efforts to reduce methane emissions and greenhouse impact. We strive to eliminate food waste by menu intelligence practices while keeping our production at daily optimum levels.



  • No food waste, just compost: Overproduction in F&B and Hospitality industry leads a significant food waste issue, linking to landfill problems. We give value to organic waste by composting to produce high quality soil. We not only make sure that we collect the organic waste during the preparation of your food such as potato peels or squeezed oranges, we also collect all the food leftovers on your plates for our compost that is collected 2 times a week to be turned into compost. In one year, we collect ~24 tons of organic waste and produce approximately ~12 tons of soil thanks to our collaboration with AbonoKm0.

FEEL-GOOD PLACE

  • By earth, we literally mean everything we share our home together, including humans, ecology, climate, animals, plants, the ocean, the rivers, and so on. So, we take our steps to care and be kind and do good for all.



  • We create a feel-good place for our beloved team, with special and fair employment policies with aim to inspire other businesses as well.



  • We create a feel-good place for our guests welcoming everyone with a open heart, and their furry friends as well where they are valued, for animal lovers to know that Faire is against any kind of animal cruelty.

  • We create a “feel good” place by giving back to mother earth to appreciate, letting our clients know that there is a tree planted somewhere while they are indulging in their good food and good mood.


    We create a “feel-good” place even for abandoned second-hand furniture, letting them have another chance to be reused or repurposed, contributing here to create a unique atmosphere in Faire surrounded with good vibes and harmony of stories and new memories.

NO! We still have a long way to go and acknowledge that the journey to make this world more sustainable, more good sanctuary for all living things, is a path we're still traversing. Every day, we strive to be better, to evolve and make a positive impact. We're grateful to have you with us on this journey.
